TTR Technologiepark Tübingen-Reutlingen
As a subsidiary of the cities of Reutlingen and Tübingen, the TF R-T has actively promoted economic development in the field of advanced technology for 15 years. In order to build directly on innovations in research in the Neckar-Alb region, it offers particular support to university spin-offs in the fields of biotechnology and medical and environmental technology. On the one hand, it acts as an incubator where start-ups and high-tech companies can access tailor-made labs and offices across three modern technology buildings. On the other hand, it supports effective communication with a variety of consultation and networking services. These important factors allow the TF R-T to create a dynamic environment for companies in future-oriented industries.

The Technologiewerkstatt Albstadt is a new center of business and innovation in the Zollernalb district. Not only does it serve as a place of communication between young entrepreneurs and companies working with textile and non-textile technologies, it's also a hub for the transfer of knowledge between universities and businesses – something that will have positive effects on the economy for years to come. Plans are underway for another similarly innovative business incubator with a (textile-based) technological background in Albstadt-Tailfingen. Once it's finished, this former textile industry stronghold will be home to spin-off projects from universities and business start-ups.
Gewerbepark UNIPRO is ideally located between the university region of Tübingen and the industrial center of Reutlingen, offering approximately 6 hectares of developed space ready for building. This former military site was transformed into an industrial park in the 1990s. Gewerbepark Engstingen-Haid is a joint association of the Engstingen, Hohenstein, and Trochtelfingen municipalities. It covers an approximate area of 100 hectares, around 50 of which are used as agricultural space and 42 as commercial space.
